What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
We decide that our film would be a small budget England based film, we then research through different small production companys to see which would be the most suited towards our film. We researched four companies 'Pathe' 'BBC Films' 'Film 4 Productions' and 'Revolver Entertainment'. We decided that Revolver Entertainment would be the best company for our film as they produce films similar to what we would want ours to be like, such as other low budget films 'Ill Manors' (£100,000 budget) 'Kidulthod' (£600,000) and 'Shank' (£385,000). Another option would be funding from 'The National Lottery' funding through the 'British Film Institute' our film should hopefully be able qualify due to it being British and would have over 16 points on the scale.
