Script
The only dialogue used in my documentary will be from interviews with
Corey’s manager, stunt coordinator and two fans through vox pops.
Rick Dean (Manager):
"Corey, Corey, Corey, I mean where do I start?, he was without a
doubt the greatest extreme sport athlete of all time. Yeah he was most famous
for his skateboarding stunts but he was also an expert at bmxing, snowboarding
and even skiing, there was really no one better. He truly was a great great guy
in and out of sport he was charming, funny, the kids loved him; the lady's
loved him I mean EVERONE did. He was on top of the world no one could stop,
that was until it happened, until we lost him"
Stanley Mink (Stunt coordinator)
'It was the biggest stunt of his career broadcasting live in front of
20 million viewers worldwide. He was going to jump over a the Great Wall of
China on a skateboard!
I knew from the second I woke up something wasn't right I could just
feel it and I was right, the weather was extremely unstable that day and not
suitable for the stunt to take place, I told Corey not to go ahead and tried my
hardest to convince him not to do it. But you know Corey when he has his mind
set on something nothing will stop him, there was no way he was going to let
down all his fans down'
Rick Dean:
After the crash he was taken straight to nearest hospital and was
announced dead in arrival. Later autosopsy reports revealed their to be alcohol
in his system both from the night before and morning of the crash.
(No one will know what really happened that day and why he crashed,
some say it was the weather, some say he was distracted but I know what it
really was it was the drink, I mean I tried to stop him before I really did.)
Vox Pop 1 (Girl)
“Corey Skelton? OH MY GOD, I LOVE COREY, he’s so amazing I love
everything about him, the hair, the glasses the shirt the skateboard
EVERYTHING. I love you Corey!”
Vox Pop 2 (Boy)
“Dude I can’t wait for the jump it’s
going to be so gnarly, Corey’s AWESOME of course he’ll make it.”
