Animatic Storyboard/ Shot List - Corey Skelton

Animatic Storyboard/ Shot List
This is my animatic story board which includes the type of shots I plan to use in my documentary. Each shot is on screen for how long they will be in the final version, some of them will just be still images but will have either have narration or the audio from the interviews played over the top. I also included music into my animatic that I will be using in the actual production.

Shots:
1. Blackout - The sound of a crowd chanting 'COREY, COREY, COREY' slowly fades in getting louder and louder.
2. Extreme Close Up - As the chanting continues a picture of Corey's face appears and begins to zoom out slowly revealing the rest of him.
3. Medium Shot - The chanting fades out as music begins to play, as the image is in full (from head to waist).
4. Long Shot - A collage of images and video clips begins to play. He is with a large group of girls taking pictures with them.
5. Close Up – An image of him with each of his trophies.
6. Extreme Long Shot – Of Corey on top of a skate ramp performing a trick, the camera slowly zooms in to him.
7. Long Shot – A clip of the crowd cheering going wild and lifting Corey up after the stunt.
8. Medium Shot – The music stops, as an interview with Corey’s manager ‘Rick Dean’, who begins to talk about Corey and what he’s like.
9. Long Shot – During the interview there an image of the manager with Corey shaking hands comes on screen.
10. Medium Shot – It cuts back to his manager as he continues with the interview and begins to talk about Corey’s ‘big stunt’.
11. Long Shot – Pictures of Corey on the day of the event are shown.
12. Long Shot – There is also found footage of him doing past stunts such as sledging down steep hills.
13. Close Up – The manager finishes up talking about the event as he talks about the accident and the screen fades to black.
14. Medium Shot – A VOX pop of a female fan being interviewed about Corey “OH MY GOD, I LOVE COREY, he’s amazing I love everything about him, the hair, the glasses the shirt EVERYTHING.”

15. Medium Shot – His Stunt Co-coordinator 'Stanley Mink' begins talking about the stunt and how he advised Corey not to go ahead with it.
16. Long Shot – There will be more shots of Corey training and getting ready for the stunt such as Cross training, push ups and weight lifting.
17. Medium Shot – Vox pop of a male fan talking about the event. “Dude I can’t wait for the jump it’s going to be so gnarly, Corey’s AWESOME of course he’ll make it.”

18. Extreme Close Up – An establishing shot of the site of the accident. Sad music begins to play along with the interview.
19. Close Up – Of Stanley as he finishes up the story ending with Corey dying.
